Valentine Schmalentine

As I am currently a single woman with a heart divided -- relieved that I don't have to get all gooey-chocolatey-smarmy-over-the-top about an arbitrary, commercialized, non-holiday event; yet torked that I don't currently have a sexy man to sic my inner wild child on with a crazy seductive pole dance (now where did I put that pole?) -- here's my exact sentiment for the holiday:

Ha! This is the kind of Valentine I would buy.

Heart divided… that does explain some things. Thank you for the day you made so memorable for me. You may not be doing the pole dance, but at least know that someone thinks you are very special on this Valentines day.

I'm lucky to be married to a woman who hates Valentine's. Woo Hoo!

PS. You vote by emailing Petra. I think her address at the end of the last days posting.

And thanks.

I think we have the same sentiment for the day.

I joke and kid a lot but one of the few things I'm dead serious about is how damn lucky I am to have found John. Don't know what I did to deserve him but I NEVER take him for granted.

Your John is out there!

And if you don't find him, I'll let you borrow mine....I can be bribed with PRADA!!

From reading all the above comments it looks like you have a lot of love coming your way, Sweetie. Mr. Right is out there somewhere and probably looking for you. Don't give up! Happy VD!

There's a nice fur lined pair of crocks out there for you. You just have to make sure that you don't end up trying on every pair in the shoe store and end up like Peggy. But she DOES have a lot of nice cards....

Love that card. I need a dozen or so to send to friends so I can crack them up.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy VD, everyone! And thanks for leaving so many fun smart remarks. Even without a fun guy (fungi?) to hang with yesterday -- or maybe because of it ;) -- I had the best day!

And thank you, Frank. I do feel special.

I hope everyone had as much fun as Peggy the Whore surely had. :))

The valentine cartoon made me laugh so that's a good thing. V-day is a day to put money in Hallmark's pocket, make men feel guilty, and make women feel sad and/or lonely. Bah humbug....right? On another note, I think Frank is a bit smitten with you so are you keeping something from us??

I never did like the Peggys of the world.

And what many people don't know is that all of Peggy's Valentines came from other girls, so Peggy was also a lesbian. A lesbian whore, if you will.

Too Funny!!!!!

Look at that smirk on Peggy's face...er, wait, they both have that expression! Love the look of your blog, by the way.
